Thailand Trip 28 Dec 08 - 2 Jan 09

It is time to write in blog on my 2008 year end trip, a trip that really flexible until me & another 7 colids do not know what our whole trip destination until we step on 1st island in Thailand, Ko Ngai that located @ Andaman Sea. Here you are, the map....

Due to we have 2 days company shutdown, we make use the leave that "GIVEN" by company for this 6 days 5 nights trip in Thailand. First 3 days we were doing several island hopping and rest of the days, we back on land. :-)

Well, this is generally our trip route:

1st day Ko Ngai
--> 2nd Day Ko Lanta
--> 3rd Day Phi Phi Island
--> 4th & 5th Day Krabi
--> 6th Day Hatyai.

Day 1, 28 Dec 08

We travel by van from Penang to Hatyai, lunch and continue to Pak Meng Pier (Jetty in Trang state), the whole journey took 7 hours. Cost: RM86

@ Pak Meng Pier, we bought package that include snokerling @ 4 islands - Ko Muuk, Ko Kradan, Ko Chuok & Ko Ma and 1 night stay @ Ko Hai Villa. Cost: RM235
Activity: swim through Ko Muuk Island & snokerling @ Ko Kradan.

Emeraid Cave, Ko Muuk

We have to hold each other to swim through the cave, no torch light....real dark in there!

And this is our boat captain, a macho man that have serious problem communicate with us. :-)

And Me and Mao have a nice picture captured @ the other side of cave, directed by our boat captain.

Ko Hai Villa, 4 persons squeeze in 1 room, all basic have but water little & no hot shower lo...

And we have an uninvited company, big red fat lizard...

And we have our great dinner, i missed the fried squid already...

Day 2, 29 Dec 08
Early morning we got to woke up early even not sleep well last night (coz got someone snooze in the room). We need to pack our thing and check out as we will stay @ another island - Ko Lanta tonight but before that we still got 3 more island to go for snokerling - Ko Muuk, Ko Chuok & Ko Ma. Our breakfast - american breakfast...

The same boat with same boat captain pick us up for snokerling.














After the snokerling, we had our lunch @ Ko Ngai beach. A lunch box prepared by the travel agent. The dishes, taste good n very spicy!

We reach Ko Lanta Jetty and waiting for "Taxi" to our hotel - New Coconut.

Dinner time, while waiting for the dishes, we have some shoots...

And we have a night walk on Ko Lanta beach...

Day 3, 30 Dec 08

The next morning, we woke up real early as we had ask the villa cook to prepare breakfast @ 6.30am as the "taxi" are picking us up @ 7.30am to Jetty for big boat heading to Phi Phi island.

We bought the package that include snokerling @ Phi Phi Le - Maya Bay & Monkey Beach and two night stay @ Krabi Ao Nang Resort - Thara Lodge. Cost: ~ RM200, cheap ha..

Yea, gang on the boat...

Scene @ Phi Phi Don Land, lots of bikinis...

There are a lot of stall selling items @ Phi Phi Don, the main island...these shirts are cute...

After 2 hours walk @ PP (time really not allow), we gotta travel with big boat to Krabi - Ao Nang, it took 2 hours to reach there.

Krabi - Ao Nang beach...i like pp beach more.

Dinner time, we are picking the seafood...

BBQ prawn and black pepper crabs...taste good!

Day 4, 31 Dec 08
This day, we bought a package for elephant riding and to Tiger Cave Temple. Cost: RM60

The elephant are real hungry, look at their mouth...

@ Tiger Cave Temple, we climbed on 1237 steps and we see this...

And @ night, we countdown @ Luna Beach bar...Got lots of "kong ming teng" up into the sky and fireworks!

We have break fast @ Ao Nang Black Canyon Cafe then head to Hatyai. Cost: RM320 per van

We didn't take much photoes @ Hatyai except the food. Hee.....

Overall, it is a budget trip that cost us RM1000, Thailand, i will be coming again to you!
